In this role, you'll:

Plan and conduct evidence-based research, which will inform the user experience (UX) of products and transport services that will enhance customer processes and experiences across multifunctional business units and projects.

Oversee and complete the development and delivery of design research and customer-focused deliverables, to elevate our customers' experiences and exceed their expectations.

Experience variety, where your day-to-day work could be to produce user research reports, customer experience maps, survey findings, carry out competitor analysis research, create information architectures and informing product roadmaps.

Enjoy a high level of collaboration with various members of the UI/UX team and product managers to create exceptional user experiences for products that are used by millions of NSW customers.

Lead without ego, influence and build trust with multiple stakeholders and indirect, matrix structure team members at all levels, applying empathetic guidance and a customer-centric mindset.

Fixed term, full time role until 30 June 25 | Hybrid work mixing in-person days with WFH. Attendance at Elizabeth St, Sydney CBD office is required ideally every Tuesday for face-to-face team collaboration and connection.

About you

You possess expertise in:

  • Analysis and problem-solving with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Running a range of user research activities, including survey creation, user interviews, contextual interviews, running user focus groups and usability testing.
  • Demonstrated hands-on capabilities with Miro.
  • Influencing and guiding others in varied environments across stakeholders and indirect reports at all levels.
