About the Role

A unique career move opportunity for a Market Research Project Manager to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, quick-learning Project Manager to work with a well-established committed team of researchers. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end execution of research studies/projects, while cultivating strong relationships with clients and cross-functional internal teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • End to end coordination of assigned projects
  • Understanding project specifications and requirements and working with the Project Director to prepare the project plan and job costing
  • Building strong relationships with field operations, liaising with them to commence field work
  • Coordinating and managing internal data collection activities to client specifications, on time and on budget
  • Ensuring project design meets client needs by providing consultation to clients concerning research best practices
  • Proactively contacting clients by phone and email to finalise project specifications and to provide consultative updates throughout the project life cycle
  • Following quality assurance procedures to ensure quality and accuracy; identifies and communicates potential problems to appropriate colleagues to drive a resolution
  • Working with the Project Director to prepare content for reports and presentations
  • Ensuring client expectations are exceeded


About You

We are looking for highly engaged individuals who:

  • Are passionate about social research and data, have an eye for detail and can deliver quality work to clients
  • Has 2-3 years' experience in the market and social research, data or statistics industries
  • Possess a strong desire to create and apply cutting edge research techniques
  • Can write and communicate to a high standard, including able to write analytical and technical reports
  • Can read and understand data, synthesise meaning and tell a story from it
  • Competent with the Microsoft Office suite and some experience with data manipulation or analysis software
  • Experience working in or leading small teams and working with clients
  • Have appropriate tertiary qualifications such as a degree in social sciences, Business and/or Marketing
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and good relationship building skills
