Exact Contracting is currently seeking Skilled Excavator Operators to join our project based just 65km out of Darwin City. Exact Contracting will deliver the Manton Dam return to service project.

There are multiple positions available, for an immediate start. Flexible roster opportunities for local Darwin employees on offer. FIFO arrangements will be on a 14 & 7 Roster.

We are seeking skilled Excavator Operators that have experience completing the below tasks:

  • Production Loading trucks;
  • Trenching to design;
  • Working around live services;
  • Final trim to desired tolerance;
  • Working with attachments (batter-board, etc.);
  • Working with GPS and laser systems.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and sketches

Exact Contracting will provide:

  • Roster flexibility, with 12 hours per day
  • Opportunity for permanent employment
  • Paid flights from any major capital city;
  • Annual retention bonus up to $3000;

the Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Current driver's licence (essential);
  • Nationally accredited plant tickets (desirable);
  • GPS experience (essential);
  • Previous plant operating experience on a civil or mine site;
  • Proven commitment to health and safety;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Personal drive and results orientated.

Pre-Employment:
All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance (within 3 months), pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
