What does the job look like?


We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate marketing and communications professional to join the Communications and Corporate Affairs team based at our Essendon Fields head office.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will play a key role in supporting the team with internal and external marketing and communications during a period of high demand.


You will be responsible for developing and coordinating a broad range of hands-on communication tasks, including researching, writing, editing and executing high quality content for internal and external audiences.

You will work closely with stakeholders and suppliers to design communications collateral as required by the organisation.

  • Support research, writing and editing of strategic communications internally and externally
  • Lead Linfox's online news and social media, including managing company and website stories
  • Support the management of reactive media as well as internal campaigns and communications
  • Providing general support to the Communications and Corporate Affairs team

You are a communications professional with a clear and concise writing style with capacity to present information to a broad range of audiences.

You have a natural ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and have the capability of making informed decisions under pressure.

You thrive in an environment where you are required to manage high priority deliverables and meet deadlines.

You can demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualification and relevant experience in a communications or marketing role
  • High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write compelling content that turns complex information into clear, accurate and relevant copy
  • Demonstrated experience in website management, with experience in SharePoint desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency and knowledge in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) desirable but not essential
