In this role, you will work with clients facing complex disabilities and mental health challenges, helping them achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives through high-quality, person-centered care and opportunities for independent living.
Role Overview:
As the Service Lead, you will oversee the operations of your site, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery. You will support your team through role modelling, coaching, and supervision, and provide participant with support aligned with their goals and NDIS plans, assisting them in living independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of service delivery of your site, ensuring high-quality supports aligned with participant goals.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor team members to achieve strategic and operational outcomes.
- Provide effective onboarding, site orientation, and training to new employees.
- Conduct regular team meetings and monthly practice supervision for each team member.
- Work individually with participants, undertaking planning and delivery work as per care plans.
- Provide support to families and carers, working with local service providers.
- Monitor and implement processes and protocols to ensure appropriate reporting to governing bodies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of leading and supervising a team to achieve strategic and operational outcomes.
- Knowledge and capability to deliver contemporary and innovative services in the disability sector.
- Extensive practical experience providing support to people with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to engage with, motivate, train, and mentor teams to ensure delivery of high-quality supports.
Ideal Previous experience: Clinical Lead or Registered Nurse
