Position Information:


The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools.

We employ, develop and support teachers, leaders and other staff to deliver the best outcomes for students and to advance the wellbeing of Aboriginal people.


About the Role


To be successful in the role you will need to have strong customer service skills and good communication skills to enable you to work effectively with others.

This role will see you working independently and within a team environment.


You will perform a range of tasks relating to the operation of the school canteen including ensuring compliance with food handling regulations, receiving supplies, reconciliation of monies received.

You will understand the importance of providing a quality customer experience.

Sixty five percent of our students identify as having a language base other than English. Marsden's Support Unit offers three specialist support classes catering for students with a primary diagnosis of Autism. The school values the inclusion of all our students into school life.

Our Intensive English Centre has been part of the school for 27 years and provides intensive English tuition to newly arrived high school aged students whose first language is not English.

2023 celebrates our first full year at the new Rhodes St site in Meadowbank, with brand new facilities and a future-focused learning environment.
