The role


This position reports to the Store Design & Project Manager and will involve the co-ordination of fitouts and refurbishments for stores.


This role is a 12 month contract
Key responsibilities

  • Source and manage quotes and budgets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers
  • Liaising with shop fitters to ensure the projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Liaising with retail managers and staff
  • Followup construction requirements and council approvals
  • Follow up and resolve fitout defects
  • Updating and maintaining schedules lighting plans, finishes & furniture schedules
  • Organise and maintain store project files
  • Sourcing finishes for existing and upcoming stores
  • Communicating timeframes to head office team and external suppliers and contractors
  • Followup on construction to ensure that it meets the design requirements and design brief from the architects, engineers, and to meet council requirements
  • Ensure all aspects of the project management are carefully coordinated, communicated and completed
  • Relevant employment experience in Project Management
  • High level of attention to detail & accuracy
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Material and manufacturing knowledge
  • The ability to read architectural drawings and visualize in 3D
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong degree of accuracy & organisation
