Opportunity for Senior Project Officer to work with Government agency to support the implementation of Solar and AC projects for properties within NSWOur Government client is seeking to engage an experienced Senior Project Officer to work with a team on the implementation of up to $43m of Solar and Air-conditioning projects including roof replacements for properties within NSW.

Key Accountabilities Work closely with the Solar & AC Project Manager and report back to the manager on project status, risks, issues, budget updates and provide ad hoc reporting.

Manage and oversee aspects of projects and implementations, including developing and monitoring project plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring budgets to ensure successful project milestones are met.

Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, budgets, and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.

Conduct site visits and contractor management as required within the team structure.
Maintain oversight of project progress and identify issues and risks bringing them to the attention of the Project Manager.

Skills & Experience 3-5 years Project Management experience and 3 years Contract Management experience with background in government sector preferred.

Familiar with tender documentation and evaluation of tender submissions.
Ability to work in a team, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and lead contractor meetings when required.
Excellent communication skills and experience with internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Skills in MS Office suite (Project, Excel, Word, PPT); Salesforce and SAP desirable.
Valid Driver's License.
White Card or willing to obtain.
Project management certification desirable.
