Your role


The Allocations Officer is responsible for tracking and following up on all ministerial and other high-level correspondence received in the Office of the Senior Practitioner (OSP).

This role operates in a high-pressure environment to support the OSP in meeting time critical deadlines

What you'll do


As an integral part of the OSP team, you will liaise frequently with a range of stakeholders including the Senior Practitioner, OSP leadership team (Directors), OSP Business Support, Cross Cluster Operations, Deputy Secretary Cluster Operations, Ministerial and Parliamentary Services, and other central office directorates.

You will ensure that all correspondence is allocated to the right recipient and keep track of responses, ensuring deadlines are met.

You will further support the OSP Leadership team with some editing and content input and use your analytical skills to ensure the OSP provides timely and accurate advice.

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders and build strong working relationships
  • Excellent organisational and workflow management skills
  • Ability to work independently and show leadership and initiative
  • Strong working knowledge of TRIM records management system, Mini App, MS Outlook and Excel
  • Project management experience
