About the role:


To provide support to rail weld management by coordinating, planning and managing resources for maintenance activities and services to enable an acceptable rate of welding production at a high quality.


  • Coordinate all repairs, refurbishment and reconditioning activities to ensure quality standards are adhered to.
  • Deliver highquality reliability by providing effective and efficient maintenance supervision.
  • Including accurate reporting and accountability for program performance.
  • Investigate and improve scheduled maintenance strategies to reduce maintenance time and increase asset availability

About You:

  • Trade Qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) Mandatory
  • Substantial skill in the use of computer systems including SAP, spreadsheets, Gantt charts and databases for asset management, maintenance planning, time management & finance reporting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Wagons and Wagon Components
  • Excellent communication skills (technical content to nontechnical audience)
  • High level of customer and stakeholder management skills
