About the role


We a seeking a values-driven Warehouse Manager who will anage the daily recycling, retail, pick-up and delivery, warehouse and administrative functions of the Family Store Warehouse, in line with TSA Mission and values.

Provide a point of connection with the local community and a viable source of recurrent income of the local Family Stores for Corps activities.

You will successfully

  • Provide leadership and direction to staff of the daily operations of the Warehouse and ensure it is operating at a high level of efficiency. This includes but is not limited to receiving the goods, sorting, pricing, cleaning, displaying and preparation of stock.
  • In conjunction with Family Store Manager/s, oversee the movement and rotation of stock and deliveries between stores.
  • Volunteers and Employees are effectively managed in an efficient and courteous environment that fosters a productive experience for customers and staff alike.
  • Maintain a strong mission focus in all aspects of the position and work environment, promoting links with the Corps and other TSA expressions
  • Manage general administration for Warehouse including record keeping and reports as required by Line Management.
This is a full-time, permanent position located in Noosaville, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Level 6 Award.

You will have

  • 2 years' experience in retail and/or customer service (preferably in a supervisor/manager role)
  • Demonstrated experience in record management, operations and reconciliations
  • 1 year experience in mentoring/training and managing staff or ability to demonstrate capability to undertake
  • Proven experience in the recycling/transport industry would be highly desirable
  • Solid level of computer literacy and basic bookkeeping
  • Current valid Driver's Licence.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • A reasonable level of fitness in order to carry out the duties of the position.
