About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Identify information needs and respond to requests for information
  • Gather and source information for analysis
  • Assist with analysis and produce reports to support benchmarking activities, quality outcomes assessments, future research, and more using Splunk, Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Maintain a high level of customer focus, providing excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Actively seek out opportunities for quality improvement and embrace changes to systems
  • Plan ways to improve skills across all skill sets, identifying gaps and seeking appropriate interventions and input from others
  • Demonstrate knowledge or ability to obtain knowledge of systems utilised within the Department of Education including Microsoft SQL/Access/Excel, VBA, DAX; and a strong working knowledge of data management, including gathering and sourcing information for analysis, assisting with analysis, and producing reports.

Highly Desirable:

  • At least 3 years of experience in data management, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft SQL/Access/Excel, VBA, DAX, and data management
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to plan ways to improve skills across all skill sets.
