About the role

This position supports the Program Manager - International Student Lounge in the management of the International Student Lounge Geelong.

The role works to ensure the availability of a safe and inclusive venue where post-secondary students can come together to make friends and learn about their new environment and culture.

The role is responsibility for onboarding volunteers to support the program.

This is a part time position, 16 hours per week for 12 months based at our Geelong Corps.

You will have

  • Experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills including a demonstrated capacity to prepare oral and written documentation/information
  • Experience working with volunteers (highly desirable)
  • Food Handling Certificate (preferred)
  • A Working with Children Check
  • Valid drivers licence
  • Be a current international student studying in Geelong at postsecondary level and have academic progression
  • Be 18 years old or over and have a valid Student Visa if you are an international student
