About you
The ideal applicant will demonstrate capability in the following requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team to deliver high quality advisory services and positive customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing and improving processes, practices and procedures to deliver better outcomes and more favourable customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating a wide range of procurement and account management functions, including experience working in a complex ICT environment utilising cloud and 'asaService' models.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, Queensland Government contractual frameworks, procurement policies and procedures, financial management policies and procedures, contract law, probity standards and other guiding frameworks relating to supplier management and contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in negotiation and conflict resolution skills particularly in the context of liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines and resources.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in data analysis and technical reporting as they relate to the assessment of tenders and market responses.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
