Main Duties:

  • Ensuring all deliveries are signed for, stock is correct and price is correct
  • Implementing systems to make sure the storage areas are kept neat, tidy and organised
  • To ensure rotation of stock to minimize wastage
  • To assist in maximising employee morale and productivity
  • To ensure the company guidelines and procedures are complied at all times.
  • To ensure that operating equipment is maintained to a good standard with minimum breakage.
  • To ensure daily duties and organization are completed on time.
  • To follow up daily ordering to company standard. E.g. Quantity and quality.
  • To maintain effective communication between the kitchen and restaurant regarding deliveries of goods and stock which is missing.
  • To ensure that any stock wastage or spoiled stock is immediately brought to the attention of a manager to be recorded and rectified.
  • Ready to help any department with their needs if needed
