Senior Project Officer, Review and Evaluation

  • Salary: $106,534 to $128,897 (Plus Superannuation)
  • Fixed term until 31 December 2024
  • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)
  • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne VIC (flexibility may be available)

As a Senior Project Officer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of evaluations across the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions. You will undertake research and analysis and project planning, and support evaluation practice across the department. You will work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team who are passionate about delivering quality work and driving positive change.

The Team

The position of Senior Project Officer, Review and Evaluation forms a part of the Economic Policy, Projects & Coordination Group and Design and Evaluation Branch. This Branch is growing to strengthen our in-house capability to provide advice across the policy lifecycle and deliver more and higher quality program evaluations. This will better support the Department to understand the impact of its work. Our focus is on helping improve how the department delivers for Victorians.

About You

Strong conceptual and analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. Experience in evaluation and review, program and policy design, or behavioural insights would be highly regarded.
