CHC is currently seeking a Flight Standards and Operations Coordinator in our West Perth Office. Reporting to the Flight Operations Manager. This is a key role responsible for the accurate update of aircraft and component records.

Role Summary


The Flight Standards and Operations Coordinator role will provide administration support to the Flight Standards Department and aircrew in the APAC region.

This role will also support the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) Manager as the Flight Operations Compliance Monitoring Officer providing day-to-day checks and weekly audits of all flight crew members' logbooks and rosters.


Key Responsibilities:

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adhering to all SMS accountabilities as determined in the CHC Australia Safety Management.
  • Monitor, update and track Flight Standard department documents and expiry registers.
  • Coordinating document review notifications, ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate documentation for internal review, approval and CASA submission.
  • Maintain and update the electronic library.
  • Maintaining the department administration of the CHC APAC Landing Pad
  • Coordinate printing and distribution of operational supporting documents and ensure the timely distribution of publications to manual holders.
  • Maintain and update subscriptions of aircraft fuel
  • Review and update internal processes and procedures and develop work
  • Manage inventory levels of items used to support the Flight Standards
  • Tracking and follow up on FSD safety and action items
  • FRMS and FSD Training and Induction for new hires
  • Conducting FRMS daily spot checks and FRMS weekly audits on all flight crew member's logbook and rosters to ensure compliance
  • Checking and monitoring any FRMS noncompliance issues and reporting to the FRMS Manager for follow up
  • Assisting flight crew members in maintaining flight and duty records
  • Assisting flight crew members in the reporting of any discretionary extensions, fatigue occurrence reports or any other of the FRMS process in compliance with CASA
  • Supporting the FRMS promotion activities

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in technical document control environment would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access)
  • Analytical thinker with strong detail orientation
  • Able to think laterally and provide creative problem solving solutions
  • Ability to learn technical, detailed procedures as required for this function
