Description


As the Partnerships Manager, you will lead a small team focused on increasing the diversity and specialist/trade skills of the ADF such as STEM, Medical, Chaplains etc through strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with specialist organisation's.


Reporting to Head of Sourcing and Attraction, you will develop and manage key channel partnerships with organisations that will enable us to identify and connect with our target audience to deliver on our strategic objectives.


You will:

  • Develop and implement a plan for partnerships with various organisations including, but not limited to, Membership Organisations, Indigenous Recruitment providers, specialist recruitment agencies, Education Institutions, Alumni and Community Organisations
  • Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities in order to increase awareness of ADF career opportunities
  • Identify and coordinate DFR participation in events that increase awareness of ADF careers to diversity and specialist/trade skills groups

Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working with diversity partners and communities. You will have a natural curiosity and ability to build trusted, collaborative partnerships and working relationships. You will be passionate, energised and motivated to deliver robust, bespoke attraction and recruitment programs.

Your background will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, written and interpersonal skills
  • Your ability to manage a variety of stakeholders across multiple programs within complex environments
  • Experience working in marketing, diversity markets and projects
  • An ability to solve problems, influence and lead through change, implementing, analysing and measuring results for continuous improvement
  • Your leadership capability as an inclusive leader, who is passionate about creating environments where individuals can thrive and highperformance is realised
  • Your strategic and continuous improvement mindset coupled with the willingness to be hands on an operational in your approach.
A qualification in business, marketing or public relations is desired but not essential if substantiated by demonstrated experience.
