Health Practitioner - Senior - Innovation and Research

Engage in service development, quality assurance and evaluation activities led by the COH Innovation and Research Team that enhance patient access and care provision and enable efficient and effective services within sub-acute inpatient and community facing settings.

This position will engage in service development, quality assurance and evaluation activities led by the COH Innovation and Research Team that enhance patient access and care provision and enable efficient and effective services within sub-acute inpatient and community facing settings. The position will provide specific allied health related professional advice to inform program activities and multidisciplinary decision making.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide clinical advice and education to professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery, utilising high level written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to influence the culture towards a common, patient-centred vision and direction.
  • Participate and contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of targeted service development initiatives within COH.
  • Employ effective change management through the utilisation of high-level influencing, advocacy, negotiation and conflict management skills to improve and sustain outcomes for clinicians and for patients within their care.
