As an Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in securing the institution's data and systems, ensuring they remain resilient against cyber threats.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting digital forensics investigations to identify and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Utilizing a variety of digital forensics tools to analyse and extract evidence from different types of digital devices and storage media.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance incident response capabilities and develop response strategies.
  • Analysing security incidents to determine the root cause, impact, and extent of the breach.
  • Developing and documenting incident response procedures and best practices.
  • Assisting in the implementation of security measures to prevent future incidents.
  • Staying uptodate with the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and digital forensics methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as an Information Security Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital forensics tools such as EnCase, Autopsy, The Sleuth Kit, Volatility, and Wireshark.
  • Strong experience in incident response and handling various security incidents.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) are advantageous.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
