Procurement Manager The Business Connect APAC are delighted to be partnering with a much loved and very well known Australian Food & Beverage manufacturer as we look to hire an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team.
This business has been and is currently going through an explosive period of growth with a new state of the art site based in Sydney and headcount growth across the business.
Founded in 2010, they have big ambition and are growing rapidly.We are seeking a high energy individual to join an entrepreneurial team and culture to help unlock the next phase of growth.

Join a business in an exciting period of growth Competitive Salary and development opportunities The role The role will manage the supply chain and the purchasing team, ensuring all elements of inbound supply and purchases are met to the requirements of production.
You must have the ability to work well in a small yet diverse team, with a strong work ethic and eagerness to progress your skills.
Key Responsibilities Development of purchasing processes and efficiencies as part of the Supply team Supplier relationship development to assist with strategic sourcing Report/ trend/ document all production quality related issues and outcomes.
Production planning alongside the planning team Formalise and monitor process to induct supplier and secondary ingredient approval Quality assurance in line with food safety guidelines International cargo tracking and supply, eradicating all local supply of packaging materials.
Tracking finished goods stock transit from multi sites Ensuring all purchase orders match with invoiced price and quantity Ownership of purchasing activities to flow through to production Key Experience Required2-3 years experience in Purchasing/ Procurement Management Experience in the food processing industry with a good knowledge of Production a MUSTERP proficiency highly desirable (Experience in MS Dynamics HIGHLY DESIRABLE)Intermediate/ Advanced Excel Fast paced Purchasing skills.
