As an Auto Electrician at Recar, you will be tasked with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in heavy vehicles like trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Performing general auto electrical work on trucks and various vehicles
• Undertaking workshop and field service tasks as needed
• Handling air conditioning repairs and servicing
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues in workshop vehicles
• Installing and configuring electrical components such as batteries, alternators, and starter motors
• Addressing faults in vehicle lighting systems like headlights, indicators, and brake lights
• Installing and repairing communication and entertainment systems such as radios and GPS devices
• Conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems
• Interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Maintaining accurate records of work done and parts utilized

Requirements

• Auto Electrician Trade Qualified (Essential)
• Mechanical knowledge to support electrical works
• Computer proficiency for software applications and electronic devices
• Self-starter attitude with a penchant for technical tasks
• Ability to work with non-standard hours, if necessary
