About the Austin Health Pharmacy Department


The Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive high-quality care to Austin Health patients and supports other members of the healthcare team in all aspects of medicines management.


About the role


As a pharmacy technician you will join our friendly and dynamic Pharmacy Department and work with our team to provide a variety of services, including dispensing medicines, medication distribution and inventory management, assist in manufacturing activities, and supporting pharmacists in the provision of clinical services.


About you
You will be someone with good communication and interpersonal skills, who is comfortable working in a team environment.

You'll further have:

  • Satisfactorily completed a relevant certificate in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) course awarded by a registered training organisation or equivalent qualification (as approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia)
  • Ac
curacy and efficiency in medication management processes
