Green Options are a professional Landscape Management and Sports Turf Maintenance Company with long term contracts at Government, private and commercial sites with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth & Adelaide.

As we continue to grow, we have an opportunity for an experienced Turf Specialist to join us in providing outstanding Turf Management services to our high end sites in the south eastern region of Melbourne.

• Providing hands-on turf maintenance working in a team environment, leveraging both operational experience and expertise;
• Fine turf management and input into the seasonal turf maintenance program, identifying, analysing and treating weeds, pests and diseases, irrigation control, fertilising turf and maintaining a renovation program;
• Mixing, decanting and spraying chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilisers;
• Assisting the Contract Manager in managing the irrigation system and moisture control;
• General grounds maintenance including: mowing and edging lawns to specifications, pruning, weeding, leaf and rubbish removal;
• Cross functional team support including the use of horticultural equipment: a blower, hedger, whipper snipper, push mower and ride on mower, edger etc.

• Minimum 3 years previous experience in turf
• Ideally have a Certificate III Sports Turf Management
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• WHS white card (or willingness to obtain)
• Must have a working with children's check
• Drivers licence (essential)
• Drive and ambition to exceed client expectations in a quality environment
