This role entails a mix of yard and Mail Centre duties, with a relief roster covering runs between Townsville to Mackay and Townsville to Cairns, requiring flexibility and offering competitive rates with a daily tonnage allowance of $23.06. Possession of a forklift license is a plus in this position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely loading your truck with delivery cages
  • Conducting relief regional runs
  • Completing Yard and Mail Centre tasks
  • Performing daily vehicle safety checks
  • Driving our modern trucks on delivery and pick-up routes between operational centers and customers
  • Unloading pick-ups upon returning to operational centers

Who we're looking for
We seek someone who is adaptable, personable, motivated, and dependable, with a knack for balancing independence with teamwork. An individual passionate about making a positive impact in the community.

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident status
  • MC license and Forklift license considered advantageous
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to chain of responsibility
  • Customer-focused with effective communication skills
  • Capable of meeting the safe working load limit of 120kgs or less
  • Physically able to handle parcels of various shapes, sizes, and weights
  • Willing to provide driving history report, undergo pre-employment checks, and national police screenings
