About the role

  • We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Regular Face to Face individual check ins with team
  • Coach and support team to work towards shared organisational goals and strategy
  • Undertakes yearly performance reviews and regular professional development conversations
  • Celebrate and recognise positive customer feedback of the team
  • Address performance issues and negative customer feedback in a timely manner, escalating to the area manager when needed
  • Assist the Onboarding Support Officer with collector and administrative vacancies for internal and external recruitment activities as needed
  • Coordinate and support the induction and onboarding of new staff with the support of Onboarding Support Officer
  • Identify training needs for the Collections and Administrative team
  • Coordinate identified training requirements for the team by ultilising current training materials, training school and Onboarding Support Officer support. Training needs to be conducted in timely manner
  • Undertake clinical competence for collection team as per National Collection Framework policy
  • Maintain training and competency documents
  • Oversee injury/hazard incidents, escalating as required and supporting injury management and return to work activities
  • Visit all sites within region at least once per month
  • Hold monthly team meetings
  • Staff interactions are documented on the Record of Contact Form and forwarded to HR for filing
  • Conduct My Pulse with all Collectors as per National HR Policy
  • Medallia Feedback actioned in line with internal policy timeframes
  • Clinical Competency completed as per National Collection Policy
  • Q-Pulse incidents are logged /actioned in line with internal policy timeframes

About you

  • To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
  • Sound knowledge of pathology industry and Dorevitch Pathology services
