Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking an E&I Estimator to join the Estimating Team. Permanent position based in our Osborne Park office and reporting to the Estimating Manager.

Your Key Responsibilities

Estimate tender packages in accordance with Tender Procedure,

Contribute to the execution methodology,

Prepare, manage and assess vendor packages,

Estimate Direct and Indirect costs consistent with the agreed execution methodology,

Identify Project risks and opportunities and qualify or price as advised by the Bid Manager,

Provide input into tender programmes,

Assist Bid Manager and Tender Coordinator with documentation requirements,

Prepare for and participate in tender review and approval meetings,

Ensure close-out of all actions raised during review,

Participate in Client tender presentations and tender clarification process as required,

Prepare handover documentation to Project team for successful Project awards.

What You 'Can Do'

Ideally you will have 2-3 years experience in an Electrical estimating role, preferably with a construction contractor with EPC direct-hire labour, plant and materials experience. This role would also suit someone with relevant site based experience (Tradesperson, Supervisor, Project Engineer) on mining construction sites looking to transition away from FIFO rosters to a permanent Perth based role.

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or similar role in the WA Resources sector for project values ranging from $1m up to $100m+.

Degree qualified Engineering (or equivalent) or Electrical Trade with relevant industry specific field experience.

Experience reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, scope of works and specifications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Intermediate user of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.

Sound commercial acumen including understanding project cost and scheduling.
