A2 Dental Laboratory is a full-service established in 2009 laboratory specialized in crowns, bridges, implants, dentures and partial frames.

Now with the 3shape D2000 scanner and the VHF S1 and S2 milling machines, our qualified team are designing and milling in-house, therefore reducing turn-around time and eliminate the need to outsource jobs.

We are a boutique dental lab that focuses on innovation and technology to produce the best possible product for our clients at an affordable and competitive price.

POSITION:


Dental Technician CADCAM / Crown (Casual)

A good knowledge of CAD-CAM designing and milling using both 3-Shape and EXOCAD, as well as being familiar with in-house 3D printing equipment with a good understanding of digital workflow, is essential for this position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • In depth CADCAM experience preferably with EXOCAD.
  • A basic understanding and knowledge of dental technology.
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Must be able to communicate with Dentists clear and concise oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite and the desire to expand digital skills and learning.
  • Be a fully qualified dental technician



 MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Worked in a dental laboratory or milling center.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 23 yeast experiences or more
  • A recognised qualification
  • Must be able to communicate with Dentists clear and concise oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional and courteous
  • Excellent work ethic
  • MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be able to complete denture repairs unaided
  • Be able to fabricate bite blocks and trays
  • Be able to fabricate denture tryins
  • Be able to fabricate and finish dentures
  • Manufacture occlusal splints
  • Ability to take and follow instructions from the laboratory manager
  • The ability to work in a team environment is extremely important
  • The ability to complete all aspects of Acrylic work
  • Highly developed skills in prosthetic appliance design and construction
  • Confidence to make independent decisions and judgement
