**POSITION: Dental Technician**

**A2 Dental Laboratory** is a modern and innovative full-service dental laboratory established in 2009, situated in Adelaide, South Australia.

We are currently seeking three skilled and experienced Dental Technicians to work on a full-time or part-time basis. ** POSITION 1: Dental Technician **-CAD/CAM Dental Lab Technician
This position operates CAD/CAM software, 3D printing machines, and milling units to create crowns, and bridges, surgical guides for implants. Designing crown & bridge on the 3Shape / EXO CAD software.
- **QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma or trade certificate in dental technology
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduation experience in the field
- **REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be able to complete full mouth cases in CAD/CAM
- Ability to fabricate diagnostic wax ups
- In depth CADCAM experience preferably with EXOCAD / 3Shape / B4D
- Knowledge of various dental materials such as lithium and disilicate and zirconia
- Knowledge to operate milling machinery and 3D printers (training can be provided)
- Motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team
- Eye for detail - produce artistic, aesthetic and quality dental work
- Desire to expand digital skills and learning all about digital dental technology
**- MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Crown and Bridge technology
- Deliver professional technical dental services in accordance with the professional standards, guidelines and work unit procedures
- Use the ability to manage own workloads, undertake routine duties largely independently
- Participate and facilitate in the development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships
- Have open dialogue and ideas about case design
- Operate CAD/CAM equipment such as milling machine and sintering oven

** POSITION 2: Dental Technician **-Ceramist
This position is ideal for a qualified Crown and Bridge Technician with exceptional ceramic skills.

**The Role**: The role encompasses working with Crown & Bridge, Zirconia, Emax manufacture, Implant retained Crown, and PFM, along with experience in handling 3Shape digital cases including Dentray. A good knowledge of CAD-CAM designing and milling using both 3-Shape and EXOCAD, as well as being familiar with in-house 3D printing equipment with a good understanding of digital workflow, is essential for this position. Responsible for creating ceramic dental restorations such as layering Zirconia, E.max, and metal.
- **QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma or trade certificate in dental technology
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduation experience in the field
- Experience with diagnostic smile design, implant, and full mouth restorations
- **REQUIREMENTS**
- Pior experience as a ceramist required
- Knowledge of various dental materials such as lithium and disilicate and zirconia
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to complete all work to a high standard within the required time frames
- Eye for detail - produce artistic, aesthetic and quality dental work
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, stain and glazing and implantology, form and function
- Motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team
- Ability to produce ceramic crowns
- Clear and concise oral communication skills and teamwork skills
- Excellent work ethic
**- MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Start-to-finish proficiency in all aspects of Ceramics
- Produce artistic, aesthetic, and high-quality porcelain work
- Take custom shades
- Verify that the patient’s prostheses and match the colour of natural teeth
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, team environment to provide quality work
- Ability to layer zirconia, e.max and metal
- Knowledge of bridgework
- Through understanding of anterior aesthetics

** POSITION 3: Dental Technician - **Denture
This position is ideal for a qualified and motivated technician specialising in dentures, committed to delivering high-quality dental solutions.
- **QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma or trade certificate in dental technology
- Minimum 3+ years post-graduation experience in the field
- Proficiency in 3Shape and 3D printing is advantageous
- **REQUIREMENTS**
- Experienced in all aspects of acrylic denture work and mouthguards.
- Efficient and well organised and work to high standard.
- Must be able to communicate with Dentists - clear and concise oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and excellent work ethic
- Professional and courteous
- Be happy working independently and on a range of tasks required for the running of a successful small business
