The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Mental Health Clinician to join the dynamic team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing comprehensive mental health support to individuals in the Murrumbidgee area.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidencebased therapeutic interventions and counseling services to clients, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and effective coordination of services.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as necessary.
  • Offer ongoing support and advocacy to clients and their families, promoting their wellbeing and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate clinical records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognized qualification in mental health or related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counseling).
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.
  • Proven experience working in community mental health or a related setting.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
