Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) Division of Surgical Specialties & Anaesthetics provides services to Lyell McEwin Hospital (tertiary site with links to the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia & Flinders university) and Modbury Hospital (teaching site).

About the Role:


An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Theatre Orderly within the Surgical Specialties & Anaesthetics.


WHA4


To cover all duties in assisting medical and nursing staff in performing a full range of duties both inside and outside of the Operating Theatre area including transportation and position of patients, set-up, collection and delivery of theatre equipment, etc and any other associated cleaning and ancillary duties.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an AQF Certificate III relevant to employee's position.

WHA5


To cover all duties in assisting medical and nursing staff in performing a full range of duties both inside and outside of the Operating Theatre area including transportation and position of patients, set-up, collection and delivery of theatre equipment, etc and any other associated cleaning and ancillary duties.


To be eligible for this position, you must hold an AQF Certificate III relevant to employee's position with 560 hours of relevant experience.

  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
