  • Deliver independent high-level podiatric management for people accessing Kidney Health Services linking with multidisciplinary foot care teams in Metro North.
  • The role incumbent will provide clinical leadership to contribute to service development, quality activities and research.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Utilise high-level clinical skills, knowledge and independent professional judgement to manage a varied and complex caseload within the podiatry foot disease & high-risk foot services of MNHHS, in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Provide timely clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers, members of the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders.
  • Develop effective professional relationships with patients and other healthcare providers in the multidisciplinary team to influence clinical outcomes.
  • Facilitate capability development of the kidney health service workforce in foot care through training and education.
