About the role

The Compliance Officer Litter and Dumping role sits within the Compliance Branch of the Planning and Regulatory Services Department and offers an exciting opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team involved in the technical support to community compliance and investigations. You will contribute to the development of a strong customer service culture within the Branch in a confidential, coordinated, timely and professional manner.

About you

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with demonstrated experience in Local Law enforcement and interpretation. To be successful in the role, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience working in local government or a relevant industry together with:

  • Certificate IV Government Investigations or equivalent with significant experience
  • Experience undertaking local law enforcement investigations
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Construction Card
  • An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership

What's on offer?

This is a fixed term, full time position for 12 months, Level 2 with a salary between $69,425 and $91,170 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.

This position is aligned to the Local Government Illegal Dumping Partnership Program and is reliant on program funding continuing.
