The Company
Maintenance Fitter required to join our client based in Knoxfield, who are a market leading glass processor.

With three processing plants across Australia (VIC, NSW and TAS) offering high performance insulated, laminated and fire resistant glass products.

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting, preventative & breakdown maintenance tasks
  • Capital project works, welding/fabrication tasks & identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Strictly following all required safety procedures

To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following:

  • A trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner
  • Proven experience in an FMCG / industrial manufacturing environment
  • A current forklift licence & electrical D licence advantageous
  • A solid understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles
  • A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

Hours & rates
Afternoon shift hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

$47.13 per hour + 15% loading + overtime + super + RDO's
