This is a key role within the finance team, comprising the Accounts Payable function, with other ad-hoc finance tasks as required.

The role can be office based or blended with working from home.

This permanent part-time position is initially for 20 hour per week, spread over a 4 or 5 day working week.


From an operational and delivery perspective, the Accounts Payable Officer will:

  • Process Supplier Invoices & Credit Notes and investigate any variances.
  • Maintain accurate records & documentation for all AP transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal & external parties to resolve any issues.
  • Account Reconciliations.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs.
  • Reconcile vendor account balances in the ledger to vendor statements where available.
  • Assist vendors with queries in relation to invoices and payments.
  • Ensure all relevant contact and bank details are up to date in the ledger.
  • Check and process employee expense claims.
  • Assisting with monthend close process, including accruals, reconciliations & reporting.

To be successful in this role you will have experience as an Accounts Payable Officer

role within a similar company.

You will have experience across the following:

  • Selfdriven with good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.


 ERPexperience
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
preferred.

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office suite to perform a variety of tasks (primarily Word and Excel).
  • English language proficient (read, writes, speak & understand).
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping & Accounts Payable principles.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and completes tasks (a finisher).
  • Selfdriven with good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • A team player that can also ensure individual workload is successfully delivered.
  • Excellent organisational skills, analytical skills & ability to work with numbers.
