  • Due to continued growth, Daracon are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Payroll Officer to join their supportive team facilitating the processing of payroll for approximately 850 permanent employees. This exciting and challenging position will see you working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where complex multi-agreement interpretation is required.

Duties include:

  • Multiple Enterprise Agreement interpretation across multiple work sites and companies
  • Accurate & timely processing of manual timesheets
  • Data Entry
  • Preparation of weekly wages
  • Liaising with employees & Supervisors regarding payroll queries
  • Reconciliation and balancing of payroll reports
  • Maintaining employee master files
  • Assisting with the management of shared mailbox
  • Workers compensation payments/submission of PIAWE documentation to insurer
  • Filing and general payroll duties

To be considered you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years payroll experience in a similar business and industry
  • Experience with computerised payroll systems
  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of current Payroll, Taxation and Superannuation legislation
  • Intermediate level MS Office skills, in particular experience with Excel, Word and Outlook
  • The ability to work independently and enjoy working in a small team environment
  • A progressive and continuous improvement focus
Ideally you will have had experience using Payroll Metrics/UKG/Kronos and SolvInjury, however this is not essential.
