ROLE: JUNIOR LEARNING COMMUNITY TEACHER

We are seeking to appoint a _Teacher _for our Junior Learning Community (Prep-4). This is a full-time
contracted position until end of Term 4 2023, commencing as soon as possible. Experience teaching
between Prep - Year 4 highly regarded.

ROLE DESCRIPTION - P-12 TEACHER

ROLE
All Teachers P-12 are expected to support the College's Vision, Mission and Values, Christian ethos and
cornerstones - God Centred Education; Evangelistic Outreach; Academic Excellence and Personal Integrity
through their personal example, interaction with colleagues, students, families and the wider community,
and in their leadership and approach to learning in the classroom.
Teachers share a significant responsibility in creating positive and caring environments to deliver young
people to society who are educated, equipped, empowered and energised to lead successful and productive
lives. They provide experiences for student learning, practice and engagement, and ensure our Christian
worldview is embedded in learning. They also ensure the duty of care for students is met as they outwork
learning outcomes and classroom activities and create effective learning environments.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • 4 Year Bachelor of Education or equivalent
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Possessing knowledge of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Police check (if required)
