About this Opportunity:

We're looking for a first-class Swimming Coach to join an exceptional Aquatics Team.

Reporting to the Programs Manager - Aquatics, you will work closely with the Head Swimming Coach and other Coaches to deliver the coaching programs.


The Swim Squad Program at UQ Sport has enjoyed success with medal winning Paralympic Athletes, Para Athlete's winning Bronze at Commonwealth Games, and most recently the University Varsity Squad Women's placing first and Men's placing second at UniSport National championships.


Off the back of these successes, we're seeking an experienced coach who can take us to new heights, inspiring and energising our squad program swimmers.

You will have demonstrated experience coaching various levels, ages and disciplines; with the ability to prepare squad swimmers for competition, focusing on improving strength, conditioning and refining technique.


In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver high quality swimming programs
  • Ensure coaching delivery exceeds best practice industry standards and our customer expectations
  • Increase involvement in coaching programs

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • First Aid and CPR Certifications
  • Blue Card
  • Bronze Licence
