Your Opportunity


The role will negotiate, source and secure leasehold properties of behalf of MA and dispose and administer all property leasehold related matters.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage MA's leasehold portfolio through sourcing new properties, negotiating lease terms and liaising with MA's legal team.
  • Ensure reviews, renewals and lease terminations are undertaken in accordance with MA's lease obligations.
  • Provide recommendations to the GM Leasehold and Freehold on all leased property matters.
  • Ensure leasing transactions align with approved budgets and execute reviews and appropriate leasing documentation.
  • Work with the GM Leasehold and Freehold property to implement streamlined leasing processes.
  • Authorize monthly rental payments.
  • Provide property advisory services to local site managers and ensure that landlord negotiations are in the best interests of the organization.
  • Develop strong effective and consultative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Executives, senior management, private landlords, agents and other stakeholders
  • Support the service delivery teams to understand and manage their lease obligations

Requirements for Success

  • Tertiary qualifications in property economics, finance or other related area is preferred.
  • Relevant 5 to 10 years experience in commercial/industrial property/asset management or leasing
  • Strong negotiation and people management skill desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of property markets across Australia
  • Prior experience in managing a team to manage property leasing activities and property administration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong customer focus
  • Strong administration, communication and negotiation skills
