Treasury Brisbane have an exciting new opportunity to join our Asset Protection team as a
Security Training Manager Reporting to the Director Asset Protection, you will be responsible for managing all Security related training to the business and ensuring all relevant statutory, regulatory, industry standards are met, and all staff are trained to a high level of competency.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and coordinate all Security training requirements, including training days, recruit induction, complex Induction and other company training as required and in line with the Security training requirements for the financial year
  • Manage and coordinate 'counter terrorism' training to all areas of the business
  • Manage and coordinate 'emergency response' training primarily to Asset Protection, but also to other areas of the business
  • Ensure efficient costeffective acquisition and coorientation of Security Training, using approved external course providers
  • Coordinate self
- paced learning modules, complete assessments and record training achievements

  • Liaise with WH&S for delivery of all WHS training requirements
  • Liaise with the Training & Development department for the development, delivery and evaluation of competencybased skills training and entry level training programs

What are we looking for?

  • Current QLD Security Industry Licence (or ability to obtain one through mutual recognition)
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Gambling Accreditation
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (highly regarded)
  • Understanding of laws as they relate to the organisation, in particular Casino Control Act and Regulation, Qld Liquor Act, Security providers Act and Crimes Act
