Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Oversee the General Accounts and Admin function for IMGA Australia. Including but not limited to;

MAINTAIN COMPANY ACCOUNTS

  • Day to day management of the Accounts Payable process. This includes working with WNS to ensure invoices are coded and processed correctly and efficiently.
  • Training of new employees with the accounts payable and expense management system.
  • Logging and maintaining monthly overhead invoices, reconciled against statements to make sure all invoices are captured and accounted for in the correct month
  • Reconcile open Vendor accounts, ensuring invoices captured has all relevant backups, meet audit requirements.
  • Review and check accounts payable payment proposals for approval and liaising with financial controller and treasury to organize payment.
  • Reconcile payment proposal to amount leaving bank.
  • Load manual and B'pays into HSBC for approval by Financial Controller and Treasury. E.g. Malaysian and Chinese vendors B'Pay tax payments.
  • Confirm Bank details in SAP for new vendors

Petty Cash and Event Floats

  • Manage petty cash, event float requirements and banking
  • Reconcile petty cash within one (1) month of event being complete.

Purchase Cards

  • Manage the administration for HSBC purchase cards
  • Breakdown of cash disbursement entry in SAP once statements received
  • Manage card holders to ensure expenses are submitted and approved each month
  • Upload expenses from HSBC statement in SAP
  • Running of HSBC reporting for current cards and limits. Ensuring temporary increases have reverted to original limit.

Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Assistant/related role
  • Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office) Excel
  • Strong commercial awareness

From $60,000.00 per year
