You will be supporting the international roll-out of our approved prostate cancer imaging agent and helping us to advance our portfolio of late clinical-stage products that address significant unmet need in oncology and rare diseases.


As the Research Manager, Oncology, you will contribute to the achievement of Telix's strategic goals through the oversight and lead of preclinical studies in support of Telix Research and Innovation programs and Commercial plans.

You will achieve this through the effective establishment and program management of key external partners, institutions and collaborators in key research areas.


This position plays a key role in working with key partners, data and literature sources to identify and evaluate scientific developments in cancer antigen / biomarkers and corresponding targeting agents suitable for development of potential radiopharmaceutical products.


What you'll do

  • Through selfdirected research, attendance at conferences or requests from colleagues, identify & prioritise prospective new opportunities and collate and present data packages on targets or agents suitable for exploration in preclinical studies.
  • Planning and execution of preclinical studies.
  • Ensure all development activities including methods, materials and outcomes are documented in detailed technical reports.
  • Provide internal and external scientific leadership in area of expertise. Guidance, mentoring and oversight of research partners and internal programs.

About you

  • Postgraduate scientific qualifications required (minimum masters' degree / PhD preferred)
  • Relevant applied research experience in oncology, cancer biology, tumour microenvironment or radiopharmaceutical drug development projects.
  • At least 10 years of relevant R&D experience with at least 2 years in clinical or commercial drug development.
  • Solid understanding of pharmaceutical research environment and development and lifecycle management.
