Onboarding Manager


Zodia Custody is seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Onboarding Manager to join our growing team in the financial services industry.

As an institution-first, FCA-regulated digital asset custodian, Zodia Custody aims to provide financial institutions, corporations, and professional investors with the freedom to realize the full potential of the digital asset future on their own terms.

Established in 2020, Zodia Custody brings together the agility of a start-up with the heritage of a 167-year-old financial institution, Standard Chartered, in association with Northern Trust and SBI.

As the Onboarding Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth customer onboarding and account setup processes.

You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific requirements, guide them through the onboarding journey, and provide exceptional customer service.

Additionally, you will work cross-functionally with various teams, including sales, legal, compliance, and operations, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, streamline internal processes, and optimize customer experiences.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the onboarding process, from initial client contact through account setup and activation
  • Build strong relationships with clients and serve as primary point of contact for onboardingrelated inquiries
  • Understand clients' digital asset custody needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and ensure smooth handover from sales to onboarding
  • Conduct due diligence and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks on new clients and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather and review client documentation, resolve issues, and address client concerns
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Zodia Custody's products, services, and operational processes
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of enhanced onboarding procedures and systems
  • Provide training and guidance to new onboarding team members
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and regulatory changes related to digital assets and custody services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in onboarding or client relationship management in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain technology
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to digital asset custody
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Detailoriented mindset with strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
  • Professional certifications related to financial services or digital assets (e.g., CFA, CFP, CCA) are a plus
  • Willingness to adapt and learn in a rapidly evolving industry
