Are you an experienced administrator looking for the next step in your career?

Maxima, in partnership with our client, are seeking a motivated Administration Officer to join their team and hit the ground running

Our client is an Indigenous owned and operated organisation within the construction industry, delivering projects across various Australian sites.

With a passion of creating real and lasting outcomes for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, they are proud to have 90% of staff identify as Indigenous.


Based at the Head Office, in this role reporting to the CEO, you will provide exceptional and efficient administrative support to ensure business outcomes are achieved.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage the CEO's calendar and appointments
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic correspondence
  • Establish and implement document control processes
  • Assist to prepare, process, and submit tenders
  • Followup team certificates and expiry dates
  • Additional administrative duties

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Can meet multiple deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Strong focus on high quality of work
  • Thrives working under pressure
  • Handson approach with a positive attitude

Role Requirements:

  • Some interstate travel may be required
  • Ability to work outside of regular working hours, if requested
  • Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • Advanced computer knowledge, including Microsoft
  • Ability to pass a preemployment medical assessment (including drug & alcohol)
