We are searching for a Contract Manager for our Defence client in Williamtown NSW. This position requires physical presence.

We need candidates who are skilled in contract management and related areas. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and collaboration skills, excelling in a dynamic work environment.

This role calls for individuals with a robust consulting skill set, focusing on problem-solving, analytical capabilities, communication proficiency, and contract management expertise. A key requirement is excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including those without technical backgrounds, explaining complex technical issues in a clear, concise, and precise manner.

The dynamic and fast-paced setting necessitates a proactive and adaptable approach with a strong drive and strategic mindset to see projects to fruition.

Consultants must navigate the organization proactively, build connections, propose solutions, educate and influence stakeholders, and collaborate to achieve goals.

Essential:

  • NV1 clearance
  • Able to access ITAR controlled data and information
  • Senior commercial & project management, with acquisition and sustainment experience in a CASG SPO
  • Appropriately qualified and experienced in Contracting and procurement (e.g. Cert IV Government
  • (Procurement), Complex Procurement in Defence etc.).
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong Defence writing skills.

Desirable:

  • CASG / Military aerospace domain experience with understanding of ASEFCON.
