Maintenance Planner (Heavy Maintenance Equipment) Golding is a successful mining, urban and civil infrastructure project management services business with projects and operations across Queensland and South Australia.

Golding currently seeks a Maintenance Planner (Heavy Maintenance Equipment) to be based on site at Jellinbah Mine, located near Blackwater.

This role will operate on a 5:2 Roster with FIFO arrangements from Brisbane, or potential for relocation closer to the project site.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent's, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing short, medium- and long-term maintenance plans.

They will assist with onsite planning process's, scheduling and resource procurement ensuring that these plans are completed at a high level of quality and compliance.

This position would be a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual that has extensive planning experience in a contracting, site-based environment.

To be successful in the role candidates must have demonstrated experience working with heavy earthmoving machinery, primarily excavators.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop project maintenance plans, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with the maintenance planning procedures.
Ensure timely procurement of all necessary parts, subcontractors, and external services, ensuring availability as per requirement.
Support Maintenance Supervisors in allocating daily tasks effectively.
Generate maintenance history, data, and information, collaborating with Technical Support to analyse downtime occurrences and equipment reliability.
Produce regular reports assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of completed planned work, offering advice for identified planned maintenance enhancements.
Maintain comprehensive records of equipment details, component histories, and predicted component life.
Provide analysis and reporting on progress to planned change out schedules and equipment component remaining life tracking.
Monitor, analyse and maintain the integrity of the SAP maintenance data and other Golding systems information.
Identify opportunities for establishing new supply relationships by consolidating major component spending categories.
Develop and compile master equipment data for equipment life and replacement analysis recommendations, catering to SAP/enterprise asset management requirements.
Conduct critical thorough reviews of maintenance policies, proposing recommendations for enhancements.

Key capability requirements:
Demonstrated on-site experience in a comparable Mobile Maintenance planning capacity Advanced proficiency and extensive experience in utilizing SAP.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Sound understanding of life cycle costing and budgeting principles.
Experience with maintenance of large hydraulic excavators, heavy mobile, and ancillary equipment.
