Immediate contract need for a strong management accountant / supply chain analyst who has come from a product based industry and is ready to use their management accounting and commercial acumen and take on a hands on and busy analyst and reporting role.

Your Opportunity

This role is immediate start and you could be at the right stage of your career for contract to permanent OR a more senior candidate than the role requires and free for the next 3 months to add your skills and experience in SAP and supply chain analysis to cover this urgent need whilst the permanent recruitment process is undertaken.

Working with the Supply Chain and Operations Finance team, you will be integral in the operational and financial success of the organisation.

Your Business as usual role will be around management reporting, commentary and analysis - covering month and year end reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will business partner and provide advice across the group around actuals v forecasts and provide meaningful commentary, allowing the numbers to come alive.

There will also be analysis of costs associated with logistics, distribution and shipping, and projects around capital expenditure, return on investment, business case analysis and costing scenarios.

Your team works on various projects and BAU, and together you provide ongoing business partnering, case scenario and technical and commercial support to the manufacturing, operations, finance and supply chain teams.

Your Profile

Must be able to start immediately and commit for 3 months at least. Must have SAP and hands on analyst skills ideally gained in logistics, product based complex organisation with strong exposure to supply chain. Your Excel and Power BI skills also need to be advanced and you must enjoy being in the detail and doing the analysis and producing results in a busy, complex environment.

As mentioned above, you could be at the right stage of your career for contract to permanent (around $140,000 package including super) OR a you are a more senior candidate who is ready to start and enjoys being hands on and using your SAP and advanced analyst skills and exposure to supply chain to add value to this 3 month contract.

Either way, you must bring depth of experience and an ability to hit the ground running to this immediate start contract role and a willingness to share your experience with the team and add value.

A proven ability to understand the manufacturing process, including an understanding of supply chain and logistics is essential plus your management reporting and commercial analysis skills.

The team is engaged and respected across the business and they welcome like minded, hands on, hard workers with an attention to detail. Accuracy and an ability to self manage and add value is critical.

The salary depends on experience and as a guide only it is paying around $60 - $80 ph plus super.
