About the opportunity:


Based in Adelaide SA and reporting to the National Sales Manager - Grocery & Convenience, the Account Coordinator will support the Detpak Grocery & Convenience business by collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, and Group Supply Chain teams to meet customer service priorities and business objectives.


In this pivotal position, you will provide exceptional service to help the business strengthen Detpak's reputation for delivering quality, service, and efficiency to both internal and external customers.


In this position, you'll be responsible for overseeing demanding schedules, prioritising assignments, showcasing adept organisational and problem-solving capabilities, and leveraging advanced computer and data management proficiencies.


In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Plan, drive, and execute sales activities with the Detpak Grocery & Convenience sales teams to achieve sales and margin targets.
  • Support the sales teams Australiawide to maximise customerfacing time.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Perform highlevel data entry tasks.
  • Ensure accurate ordering, forecasting, container tracking, and customer stock reporting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for ontime delivery of goods.
  • Address customer concerns, manage credit claims, and develop quality solutions.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing strategy and customer planning.

About you

To be successful in the role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role focused on delivering excellence in service within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
  • Experience working across multiple systems.
  • Strong customerfocused approach.
  • Proven ability to meet customer requirements with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
  • A passion for customer service and business success
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport & credible relationships with a variety of stakeholders
While not essential, experience in the Packaging industry will be highly regarded.
