Data and analytical insights are essential to the success of any business.

As a Pricing Data Analyst you will perform various ad-hoc and repeatable analyses geared toward increasing overall pricing sophistication, including improving pricing data assets and leveraging data to inform pricing strategies.

The Pricing Data Analyst is critical to making this happen and will:
Build robust data assets to enable analysis and insights to be readily extracted by the Pricing CoE
Build or automate various processes required by the team
Data wrangling, visualisation and exploration to extract insights to inform pricing strategies
Build, refresh or refine predictive models used for various pricing related insights

Role Location:

Melbourne Blended:
Working from the ANZ workplace 2-3 days a week (minimum 2 days) and remotely the other 2-3 days per week

Role Type:
Permanent / Full Time

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Excellent data wrangling skills including, data exploration and cleaning
Proficiency programming in SAS, SQL, R or Python
Experience visualising data and using visualisation tools such as Tableau or Qliksense
Experience presenting analysis results to stakeholders and working with them to refine and discover further points of interest
Superior ability to execute on commercial requirements, converting them into technical realities
Degree in a technical discipline such as data science, mathematics, actuarial studies, engineering, or IT (postgraduate qualification preferred)

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
