Your responsibilities will include:

  • Following the celebration of an internal promotion, we are excited to grow our Customer Support Team. We are seeking a Defence Logistics Specialist to provide ongoing support to our Royal Australian Navy customers. You will be required to take and process orders from customers and representatives as well as provide order details and status updates. You will act as liaison between customer and warehouse while processing and adjusting database for returned goods.
  • Your responsibilities and duties will include (but not limited to):
  • Assisting with Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements.
  • Assisting with the management of Urgent Defects through the Navy High Priority Demand Systems
  • Expedite emergency orders upon customer requests.
  • Assisting with the management of the 24 hours help desk to meet customer requirements
  • Maintaining knowledge of company products and customer service processes.

About you:

  • To see you succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Experience in data management including the ability to produce, analyses and interpret complex reports and information
  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and understand the importance of building strong relationships.
  • Experience working within the Military or with a Defence contractor
  • An understanding of Defence corporate governance (highly desirable)
  • Experience with MILIS (highly desirable)

Special Requirements:

  • Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
